About Lori

Hi there! I’m passionate about supporting children, adolescents, and adults as they navigate emotional challenges such as anxiety, low self-esteem, grief, and disconnection. Whether you’re facing life transitions, struggling in relationships, or simply feeling overwhelmed, I offer a compassionate, nonjudgmental space where healing and growth can take place.

With years of experience as a school-based counselor in public elementary and middle schools, I specialize in working with children facing emotional and behavioral challenges. I’m trained in play therapy and skilled in supporting kids with ADHD, neurodivergence, anxiety, self esteem, defiance, and anger management. I work closely with both teachers and parents to help children regulate, thrive, and feel empowered in both school and home environments.

In addition to working with children, I offer parent support and coaching to help caregivers feel confident and equipped in their parenting journey. This service complements my play therapy work and allows for a collaborative, family-centered approach to healing and growth.

My therapeutic style is humanistic and strengths-based, incorporating elements of Internal Family Systems (IFS). I bring warmth, directness, and a deep belief in each client’s potential. Together, we’ll explore communication, boundaries, and self-care, while developing lasting coping strategies for both everyday stress and deeper healing.

Reaching out can feel hard—but you’ve already taken a brave first step. You don’t have to go through this alone. I’m here to walk alongside you on your healing journey, and I look forward to connecting with you.
